Kochi: District Medical Officer, Ernakulam, Dr N K Kuttappan has said that the final medical panel report on the sudden death of medico at Ernakulam Government Medical College Shamna Tasnim is not yet ready and reports coming otherwise were not true. He told DC on Saturday that he has not signed on the final report.
“The final report is not yet ready. Only the forensic surgeon has signed. Each person can record their opinion and then sign. It is not complete yet. The final report will be prepared in two-three days and given to the police,” said the DMO. The three-member medical panel is headed by the DMO and the third member is the Government Pleader while two invitees on the panel, a cardiologist and an anesthetist, are from the General Hospital, Ernakulam.
