“Realising the difficulties of the students in reaching the high school library located far away from the higher secondary classrooms, the authorities took the initiative for a new library for the higher secondary section. We were collecting books for the past month,” said Nafees Ahamed, who heads the media committee of Aavishkar.
They had earlier organised a medical camp at the Pazhassi Raja Tribal School, Periya, a month ago, where they distributed medicines for around 200 students and villagers. “Aavishkar brings out ideas that can drastically change the way we perceive the use of technology and science in everyday life. This is a social endeavour with the aim of blending technological progress with social augmentation,” Mr Ahmed said.
