NIZAMABAD: Rachakonda joint commissioner of police V. Satyanarayana was posted as Nizamabad police commissioner on Friday. Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari issued orders on this regard. Satyanarayana is an IPS officer of the 2006 batch.
After the retirement of then commissioner K.R. Naga Raju, Nirmal district superintendent of police Ch Praveen Kumar had held additional charge of the post. Ahead of the Assembly elections, the state government posted regular officer in Nizamabad.
