Hyderabad: Rajahmundry Techie Dies By Suicide

Hyderabad: A techie identified as Meda Ramachandra, working for an MNC was found dead at his flat in Maruti Nagar under Attapur PS of Cyberabad in the city on Friday. Police said he died by suicide.
While it was widely rumoured that he took the extreme step, unable to bear harassment from online loan app organisers, police said that he could have taken the extreme step due to family issues. Meanwhile, a selfie video of Ramachandra had gone viral.
In the video, he is heard saying that he was burdened with debts and that his family also can not repay them. “ If any of my body parts will be of use, they may be used. I request my parents also to not object to donating my organs,” he is heard saying.
Attapur SHO Puli Yadagiri said that prima facie family issues are believed to be the reason for the suicide. However, all other angles including the alleged harassment of loan app organisers are also being probed into, he added.
Ramachandra hailing from Rajahmundry of Andhra Pradesh got married nine months ago. But three months ago, due to some issues, his wife, who was a distant relative to him, left her parents.
Since then, he was alone in the flat. Inquiries also revealed that he had recently shifted to another company. On Friday, his flat owner grew suspicious about him not coming out of the flat and alerted police. When police broke into the flat, they found him dead. His parents residing in Rajahmundry have been informed about his death. A case has been registered at Attapur PS for further investigation.
