Bhadrakali Devi Kalyana Brahmotsavalu from May 3 to 14

The celebrations will begin with Ankurarpanam and Gouri Ganapathi Puja along with performing Ganapathi, Sudarshana and Chandi Homam

Hanamkonda: Like every year, Sri Bhadrakali Bhadreshwara Kalyana Brahmotsavamulu will be conducted at the historic Bhadrakali temple from May 3 to 14, informed temple executive officer Sheshu Bharati here on Monday.

Speaking during a press meet at the temple premises, the EO said that on May 3, the celebrations will begin with Ankurarpanam and Gouri Ganapathi Puja along with performing Ganapathi, Sudarshana and Chandi Homam. On May 4, Dwajarohanam, Agni Pratistha and Mruga Vahana Seva will be organised.

The first phase of Kalayana Mahotsavam that is Adurukollu (Kalyana Rahabaram) of Bhadrakali Devi and Bhadreshwara Swamy will be organised on May 5, she informed.

Sheshu Bharati said that the main stage of Brahmotsavalu that is Kalyanam of Bhadrakali Devi and Bhadreshwara Swamy will be held from May 6 to 9 during which Hamsa Vahan Seva will be held on May 7, Pallaki Seva and Sheshavahana Seva on May 8 and Gandotsavam on May 9.

Rathotsavam will be held on May 10, Dolothsavam on May 11 and Vasantotsavam will be held on May 12 along with Purnahuthi on May 13.

The Brahmotsavamulu will be concluded with Chakra Snanam and Pushpa Yagam along with Kumbabhishekam to Goddess Bhadrakali Devi on May 14, she informed.

The EO appealed to the devotees to attend the programme in large numbers and seek blessings from the presiding deities.
