HYDERABAD: Hyderabad will join the multi-city Ahimsa Run being held simultaneously at 85 places across the globe. The event will begin at 5.30 am on Sunday. More than one lakh runners, including 2,800 from Hyderabad, are to participate in the run across all locations.
The city event will have three categories — 3K, 5K and 10K. The run will start and end at the Jala Vihar parking zone on the P.V Narasimha Rao Marg. Principal secretary, IT, Jayesh Ranjan will flag off the run. DGP (law and order), Sanjay Jain will be present.
