Hyderabad: A 15-year-old class X student was beaten to death by his classmates inside their Sai Krupa high school premises in Krishnanagar under the limits of Jubilee Hills police station here on Wednesday. The deceased, Syed Mansoor, was a resident of Yousufguda.
According to police, some students were playing cricket inside the classroom with a paper ball. Mansoor and his classmates had heated arguments on petty issues during the game. A few of them attacked Mansoor with a stick and punched him. He collapsed on the ground with a serious head injury. Teachers shifted the boy to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
Police registered cases and launched an investigation into the incident. They collected CCTV footage, which they are verifying.
