D S Chauhan, takes charge as new Rachakonda police chief (DC)
Hyderabad: The new Rachakonda police commissioner D.S. Chauhan will prioritise security and safety of every citizen.
In his first interaction with the media and public since taking over, he said, “We will come up with new strategies to curb crime, spread our network and organise awareness programmes.”
Chauhan said that the officers were attending to all crime related issues with gusto. He cut a cake with police personnel to mark New Year’s Day.
“We need the public to cooperate with us. They need to report crimes to the police, which will resolve them immediately,” he said.
