KTR to visit Nirmal on October 4, lay foundation stones for development projects

Adilabad: Information Technology minister and BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao will tour Nirmal district on October 4. He will lay the foundation stones for various development works and also inaugurate development works valued at Rs 1,157 crore.

Speaking to the media, forest minister Allola Indrakaran Reddy informed that Rama Rao will inaugurate the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Lift Irrigation Scheme (27th package of the Kaleshwaram project), which was taken up at a cost of Rs 714 crore.

He will also inaugurate a drinking water scheme in Nirmal town under the Mission Bhagiratha scheme, which was taken up at a cost of Rs 23.91 crore. He will lay the foundation stone for an oil palm factory with an estimated cost of Rs 250 crore on 40 acres of land in old Pochampad village in Soan mandal.

Rao will also address a public meeting at NTR stadium in Nirmal town.
