Vijayawada: Bapatla district SP Vakul Jindal advised the police personnel not to neglect their health and give top priority to fitness. The SP started a free specialty medical camp organised by a team of 18 doctors of Manipal Hospital at the RepalleGovernment Hospital for the police personnel of the Repalle sub-division under the direction of the Repalle DSP, T. Murali krishna.
The SP said that the work pressure of police is high which will put more impact mentally and physically on their health conditions. He said that police personnel are very strong and healthy during training but some time after coming to work, many of them get many types of health problems due to work
pressure.
He said that in some cases there is no opportunity even for the police personnel to get their health problems checked. Therefore, keeping in mind the welfare of the police personnel, the medical team of Manipal Hospital is conducting medical examinations for the police personnel under the jurisdiction of Repalle sub-division. The district SP said that free medical camps will also be organised in the rest of the subdivisions of the district.
