Telangana CM security man's gun misfires

Hyderabad: A reserve inspector from the Intelligence Security Wing was removed from the Chief Minister’s security team three days after he misfired his weapon at the Moinabad firing range. Mr V. Vasudeva Reddy has been asked to report at the police headquarters while a departmental inquiry takes place.
His firearm had gone off accidentally when he was handling it in the hallway, causing panic in the building. Senior officials said there were no injuries but a source said a police officer had been injured. He was supposed to have been relieved from CM’s security detail next month on rotation.
