Komatireddy calls on kin of building collapse victims
HYDERABAD: Bhongir MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said freezers and basic amenities should be provided to government area hospitals immediately. He sanctioned Rs 20 lakh from his MP local area development (MPLAD) funds to the Bhongir Area Hospital mortuary. He consoled the family members of four persons who died in a building collapse in Yadadri on Friday.
Venkat Reddy handed over Rs 50,000 each to the family members of the four deceased. He spoke to the Yadadri-Bhongir collector over phone on the mishap. Speaking to reporters, the MP said that the TRS government had failed to provide basic amenities in government hospitals.
"I personally provided fans, air conditioners and windows to the paediatric ward in Bhongir,” he said. He also assured to provide three freezers to Bhongir and two freezers to Aler hospitals immediately. He demanded Rs 10 lakh ex-gratia to family members of the deceased in the mishap.
