ADILABAD: Six houses and two cattle sheds were gutted in a fire that took place in Mandragada village in Jainad mandal in Adilabad district in the wee hours of Sunday. Learning about the fire, joint-collector Krishna Reddy went to Mandragada and interacted with the victims.
He inquired about the incident and the losses they had incurred. It is learnt that Rs 15,000 and three tola gold were destroyed in the fire accident. The JC distributed Rs 8,000 as immediate relief to the victims. TRS leaders gave Rs 500 and essential commodities to each victim on behalf of the party.
