Air India Dreamliner to connect Kochi from today

Air-India is one of the first airlines of the world to induct B787 Dreamliner into its fleet.

KOCHI: Fulfilling a long pending demand for Boeing 787 Dreamliner services between the national capital, Delhi and Kochi, Air-India will operate its first Dreamliner service on New Delhi-Dubai route via Kochi starting Wednesday. Operating daily, the flight AI 933 will depart from Delhi at 5.10 am and will reach Kochi at 8.00 am. For its onward journey from Kochi, it will depart at 9.15 am and touch down at Dubai airport at 12 noon. On the return, flight AI 934 will depart daily from Dubai at 1.30 pm to reach Kochi at 6.50 pm. From Kochi AI 934 will become AI 047 departing at 8.20 pm to complete its journey upon landing at Indira Gandhi International airport, New Delhi at 11.20 pm.

AI will also offer attractive introductory offer which includes free check-in baggage allowance of 40kg in economy and 50kg in business class. Air-India is one of the first airlines of the world to induct B787 Dreamliner into its fleet. The Dreamliner offers host of noticeable advantages over other types of aircraft in terms of space, quietness inside the cabin, cabin altitude and humidity besides many others. The windows on a B787 are the largest in civil aviation, bringing in more natural light and providing an unparalleled look at the heavens. The overhead space in the aircraft is exceptionally roomy and the Dreamliner is substantially quieter as compared to other aircraft.
