Hyderabad: Hyderabad commissioner of police Kothakota Srinivas Reddy rang in the new year with his family and senior police officers at cake cutting ceremonies in various zones across the city on Sunday.
The commissioner cut cakes at Tank Bund, Charminar, Koti, Secunderabad Clock Tower, Osmania University, KBR Park, and ICCC Banjara Hills, till late at night.
In his New Year message, Sreenivas Reddy said, “We will work harder to provide basic policing by assuring the people of the city that we are there and that we will always stand by them.”
Additional CP (law and order) Vikram Singh Mann, additional CP (traffic) P. Vishwaprasad, joint CP (crime and SIT ) A. V. Ranganath, among other senior officers, participated in the celebrations.
