Hyderabad: Rev. Daaji, Guide of Heartfulness, presented the inaugural Heartfulness Changemaker Award to Rt. Hon. Patricia Scotland KC, Commonwealth Secretary-General. She is the person holding the post to receive this honour.
Daaji praised Scotland’s remarkable support for global youth, in harmony with Heartfulness initiatives. The initiative of "Youth Unite," which focuses on creating connections and mentorship opportunities for young people happened at the same time as Scotland's visit.
Secretary-General Scotland highlighted the crucial role of youth, promising ongoing support and amplification of their voices. Daaji's vision and compassion were commended, resonating with Swami Vivekananda's teachings on fearlessness and knowledge, aligning with the shared goal of building a compassionate, understanding world.
Heartfulness is working with the Commonwealth Secretariat, jointly organising an essay event for those aged from 14-25. Additionally, the Heartfulness community is preparing for global events in 2024 to commemorate the 125th birth anniversary of the founder.
