Fire Breaks Out in Navi Mumbai Timber Godown, Doused, No Injuries

Thane: A fire broke out in a godown storing wooden items in Dahisar Mori area of Navi Mumbai, though no one was hurt in the incident, an official said on Friday.

The blaze broke out around 11:50 pm on Thursday at a godown close to a weighbridge facility, he added.

"To tackle the intense blaze fuelled by the timber inside the warehouse, emergency teams and fire tenders were dispatched from six major stations at Koparkhairane, Nerul, Airoli, CBD Belapur, Kalamboli, and Rabale. The fire was extinguished at 8am on Friday. No one was hurt in the incident," he added.
