95.86% Candidates Qualify AP ICET 2025VISHAKAPATNAM: Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (AP ICET), 2025, results were announced on Tuesday, with 95.86 per cent of students qualifying the examination.


Andhra University Vice Chancellor Prof. G.P. Raja Sekhar said out of the 34,131 candidates who appeared for the test, 32,719 qualified.

The examination, conducted on May 7, 2025, took place across 93 test centres in 24 districts of Andhra Pradesh and one centre in Hyderabad. A total of 37,572 candidates had registered for the test, which is a gateway to MBA and MCA courses in the state.

Visakhapatnam's Meka Manoj claimed the first rank with a score of 197.914 marks, followed by Dwarakacharla Sandeep Reddy from YSR district in second position with 179.517 marks. Sakala Krishna Sai from NTR district came third with 178.517 marks.

Valluri Sairam Satvik from Hyderabad scored 175.694 marks and Ravuri Madhurya from Guntur scored 175.4529 marks rounding out the top five.

The remaining top performers include Shek Bashirunnisa from Anakapalle (175.313 marks), Valipi Ajay Kumar from Tirupati (174.179 marks), Bhisetti Hari Venkata Prasad from East Godavari (173.7501 marks), Saragada Ganesh Reddy from Visakhapatnam (173.6118 marks), and Mahendra Sai Chama from Tirupati (171.9104 marks).

IT and education minister Nara Lokesh congratulated the successful candidates. He said: "Congratulations to all the students who qualified in AP ICET 2025. Results are now available at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/ICET & WhatsApp Governance No. 9552300009."

Category-wise results indicate a 100 per cent pass rate for SC and ST candidates. Among other categories, BC_C led with 97.22 per cent qualification rate, followed by BC_D (95.37 per cent), OC (95.33 per cent), BC_B (94.96 per cent), BC_E (94.82 per cent), and BC_A (94.01per cent).

Gender-wise analysis revealed a slightly higher pass percentage among female candidates (96.03 per cent) compared to male candidates (95.66 per cent). Of the 18,268 female candidates who appeared, 17,543 qualified, while 15,176 out of 15,863 male candidates successfully passed the test.

In terms of regional performance, Andhra University achieved a pass percentage of 96.6 per cent, while the Sri Venkateswara University recorded 94.4 per cent. Non-local candidates achieved a 97 per cent pass rate.
