Kolkata: The Election Commission has processed nearly 49.63 lakh voter records so far under the ongoing SIR of electoral rolls, officials said on Thursday.
The seventh supplementary list was released on Wednesday night, though details on how many names were deleted remain unknown.
The update came on the same day the Supreme Court heard matters related to the SIR process.
Officials said a substantial portion of the exercise has already been completed.
