Will Show Scholarship Letter If PM Modi Shows Degree: Dipke

A Surat-based RTI activist had sought a probe into the finances of Dipke's father, a retired government employee who sent his son abroad for education.

Mumbai: Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke on Monday hit back at the RTI activist who questioned the funding of his studies abroad, saying his education was financed through a scholarship and an education loan. He also challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi asking the latter to show his degree.

“I am ready to reveal my scholarship letter & education loan letter. Will the emperor show his degree?” Dipke said in a post on X.

His comments came after a Surat-based RTI activist Amit Tiwari demanded an inquiry into the finances of Abhijit’s father, Bhagwan Dipke. a retired government employee who sent his son abroad for education.

Speaking on it, Dipke in his video post said, “I just saw that a BJP worker has filed an RTI on me and he wants to know how I completed my education. So, I want to ask him, will your leader show their degree? I am ready to show my scholarship letter and education loan letter. Will your leader show their real degree?” he asked while speaking in Hindi in a video in the post.

Challenging the government to conduct any investigation it wants against him, Dipke said he is ready to face any probe.

“Whenever anyone raises a voice against this government, it sends ED, CBI and other agencies to harass him. If the Prime Minister sends ED to me, he should also send along a copy of his degree certificate. Then I will make my education loan, scholarship details and degree certificate public,” he said in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

I do not understand why these people are against education. Why can't they see someone from a simple household study in Boston, he added.

Dipke, who earned a Master of Science degree in Public Relations from the College of Communication at Boston University, returned to India in June to lead an agitation against the NEET-UG paper leak that saw youth from different parts of the country converge in Delhi to demand reforms and the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan as the Union Education Minister. The Dipke-led CJP protested in Delhi for 36 days and the agitation culminated in the resignation of Pradhan.
