Delhi Faces Heavy Rain, Waterlogging; Over 10 Flights Cancelled
According to reports, around 10 flights were cancelled at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport, while more than 100 flight services were delayed due to the adverse weather conditions.
New Delhi: Several parts of Delhi witnessed heavy rainfall on Tuesday morning, leading to severe waterlogging in the national capital. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a red alert for Delhi, warning of intense rainfall. According to IMD heavy rainfall may continue till 10 AM.
The heavy showers caused waterlogging on major roads affecting vehicular movement and resulting in traffic congestion in different parts of the city.
