World is Shifting Towards Veganism: Baba Ramdev on BRICS Veg Food Row

Mumbai: A political row erupted over the all-vegetarian menu served at the BRICS Summit Gala dinner this year. On BRICS Summit veg food row, Yog Guru Baba Ramdev says, "We have moved from a non-vegetarian diet to a vegetarian one, and now the world is shifting towards veganism. I feel that those raising objections are suffering from a kind of intellectual bankruptcy. While dietary choices are a matter of personal preference, vegetarianism is beneficial from scientific and health perspectives, and veganism is even better. Therefore, this issue should not be viewed through the lens of religion."
