Lokesh Urges Bihar Youths to Elect NDA Again

Lokesh said Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar have "visions and clean records" in governance

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh education minister Nara Lokesh has urged the youth in assembly poll-bound Bihar to re-elect the NDA and ensure the state's comprehensive development.
Addressing the media in Patna during his election campaign tour of Bihar, Lokesh said the present elections were crucial in India's political landscape.
Lokesh said, “I am now in Bihar not as an Andhra Pradesh minister but as a responsible Indian citizen emphasising the importance of Bihar’s political future. The youth of Bihar must avoid repeating Andhra Pradesh's mistake of giving a chance to the YSRC in 2019. It led to law and order issues and migration of industries to neighbouring states, causing severe loss to AP. Bihar must not face such a situation.”
Lokesh cited three reasons why NDA should retain power in Bihar. He praised prime minister Narendra Modi and Bihar’s chief minister Nitish Kumar for their “honest, corruption-free administration.” He said Modi’s vision of a developed Bharat included Bihar.
Explaining the advantages of having a 'double engine government' with central support, Lokesh said the presence of NDA governments in both Bihar and AP has resulted in massive central funding for these states’ infrastructural and educational growth.
“The Central government policies are aligned with those of the NDA-led states, facilitating industrial growth and ensuring peace and stability, which are critical for large-scale development,” he asserted.
Drawing on examples from Gujarat and Odisha, Lokesh said continuous rule by the same parties resulted in substantial development. He highlighted the end of the ‘Jungle Raj’ era in Bihar before Nitish Kumar’s rule. Lokesh also contrasted the RJD’s promises of one government job to every household as unrealistic.
The media meet was attended also by Bihar MLC Sanjay Mayuk, MPs Sana Satish and Ganti Harish and former MP GVL Narasimha Rao.
