Didi Meets Tejaswi, Kin on His Second Child

Kolkata: West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday met and congratulated RJD leader Tejaswi Yadav after his wife Rajshri gave birth to their second child, a son, at a private hospital in the city.
The Trinamul Congress supremo also met and greeted Tejaswi’s wife and father and RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and his wife Rabri Devi and visited the newborn at the hospital.
While Ms Banerjee wished Tejaswi good luck in the upcoming Bihar Assembly Election with the arrival of a new member in his family, the young RJD leader called the TMC chief his baby's “local guardian.”
Standing next to Tejaswi, Ms Banerjee said, “There is a good news in his family. He has been blessed by a son. Laluji and Rabriji are also here. They are also very happy. I wish his family happiness and convey my best wishes to him for the upcoming polls. The newborn himself brings good wishes.”
She later posted on X-handle, “I have known for some time that Rajshri had been in Kolkata, and Tejashwi had shared the news of the baby's arrival with me last evening. I promised I would visit, and today I did, with affection and blessings in my heart. May this little one be a harbinger of good fortune and hope for the family.”
Tejashwi said, “I am thankful to everyone and especially to Didi. From the very first day, she has been with us. She has been like a local guardian to us.”
