CJP Founder Abhijeet Dipke Attacked Before Public Address in Jaipur
Videos emerged of the incident showing Abhijeet getting slapped four times by unidentified persons who emerged from the crowd at Jaipur’s Shaheed Smarak

Jaipur: The founder of the satirical political party-turned social movement Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), Abhijeet Dipke was attacked before he addressed fellow protestors in Rajathan’s Jaipur on Monday.
Videos emerged of the incident showing Abhijeet getting slapped four times by unidentified persons who emerged from the crowd at Jaipur’s Shaheed Smarak.
The CJP founder was being carried on the shoulders of the supporters of the movement, towards the podium to speak, when he was attacked.
The attackers were immediately apprehended by the crowd, who manhandled him in return, before handing them over to the police.

Abhijeet Dipke was in Jaipur as part of the movement’s nationwide protest campaign, calling for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over his alleged incompetence in the role, among other issues including unemployment and corruption.
The firebrand movement, with immense following among Indian youth, had begun their protest campaign in Delhi, followed by peaceful protest demonstrations and public addresses in Bengaluru, Amritsar, Pune, Lucknow and Hyderabad.
The CJP rally in Bengaluru was joined by Cine Actor and Activist Prakash Raj and their Sunday Rally in Dharna Chowk of Hyderabad was headed by educationist and activist Sonam Wangchuck.
