Khammam: Revenue minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy on Tuesday said all 56 cases registered against Chinthapandu ‘Teenmar Mallanna’ Naveen, the Congress candidate for the Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda MLC graduates constituency bypoll, were false.
Speaking at a meeting in Khammam in Naveen’s support, Srinivas Reddy pointed out that all cases were registered by the police during BRS rule. Naveen was not an accused in a single case before 2014. The BRS government had tried to silence those who were talking against its corruption by implicating them in false cases, the minister said.
The BRS government had created hardship to the family of Naveen for talking against corruption and dictatorial behavior of the BRS government.
He made it clear that it was not possible for BRS president K. Chandrashekar Rao to stop Naveen’s victory.
Srinivas Reddy said the conspiracies of Chandrashekar Rao and K.T. Rama Rao for Naveen’s defeat would not work. He exuded confidence that the graduate voters would support him in this election.
