Bhubaneshwar: Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik is yet to repay the loan amount that he has taken from his sister Gita Mehta. Mr Patnaik has borrowed '15 lakh as loan from his sister Gita. But, he has not returned the amount till the date, revealed his property statement made public on Saturday. According to his property list declaration for the year 2017-18, the CM’s assets increased by only Rs 2,81,010 in one year. His movable and immovable property worth Rs 49,25,02,647.
Last year, he had declared his property worth Rs 49,22,21,637. As per the declaration, Patnaik owns a 1980-model Ambassador car worth Rs 8,905. He has immovable assets include 22.7-acre agriculture land, a building in Tikrikhera village in Faridabad district of Haryana, two third share in Naveen Niwas and 50 percent share in a property at APJ Abdul Kalam Road in New Delhi.
