Hyderabad: Three PhD scholars, Ms. Swati Dahariya, Ms. Chalasani Danteswari and Ms. Mouboni Dutta from School of Life Sciences, University of Hyderabad (UoH) have been selected for the prestigious Newton Bhabha PhD placement Programme 2018-19.
The Newton Bhabha PhD Placement Programme is a partnership between the British Council and the Department of Science and Technology (DST) and Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India. Through this program PhD scholars across UK and Indian sub-continent are provided research funding for a short period from March to October annually.
The Newton Fund builds research and innovation partnerships to support economic development and social welfare for long-term sustainable growth.
