Hyderabad High Court tag PIL on shortage of drugs

A division bench comprising Chief Justice Thottathil B. Radhakrishnan and Justice S.V. Bhatt was dealing with the PIL.

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad High Court on Tuesday directed its Registry to tag a PIL which was taken up on the issue inadequate medical facilities in Telangana state and AP with similar pending cases and post them for hearing.

A division bench comprising Chief Justice Thottathil B. Radhakrishnan and Justice S.V. Bhatt was dealing with the PIL based on a letter by Mr Rapolu Bhaskar, a practising advocate, urging the Chief Justice to intervene into the inadequate medical facilities and doctors in the villages of both states.

He brought to the notice of the Chief Justice that the villagers in both states have no other option except to approach the RMP doctors.
