Jagan Mohan Reddy moots shifting AP High Court to Kurnool
Reddy, during his recent visit to New Delhi, discussed his idea of decentralisation of administration and the state capital with Amit Shah.
Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has decided to relocate the state High Court (HC) to Kurnool, the gateway to the Rayalaseema region. According to sources, Mr Reddy, during his recent visit to New Delhi, discussed his idea of decentralisation of administration and the state capital with Union home minister Amit Shah.
According to sources close to Mr Reddy, he wants to turn the AP capital into an administrative capital with the Secretariat, Raj Bhavan, Assembly and the Council.
