Bengaluru: A 29-year-old woman died after she was repeatedly beaten up by her paramour for three days suspecting infidelity. The deceased has been identified as Priyanka, a resident of TB Sandra. Her paramour Jagadish is absconding and police are on lookout for him.
According to police, Priyanka got married four years ago to a 50-year-old man who left her after he found Priyanka's alleged extra marital affairs.
After her husband left her, she befriended 27-year-old Jagadish, an electrician, and resided with him in a rented house in TB Sandra.
Recently, Jagadish allegedly caught Priyanka talking to someone on phone. Suspecting infidelity, the duo fought. Jagadish, in the heat of the argument, allegedly attacked Priyanka mercilessly. He began to frequently assault her.
One day when Priyanka collapsed during assault, Jagadish took her to hospital where she was declared brought dead. Fearing arrest, Jagadish fled the spot.
Vidyaranyapura police have registered a case.
