The victim identified as Harish was robbed at knife point by a group of six robbers who came in bikes.
According to police, Harish had come to Kotak Bank’s Peenya branch to withdraw money. He withdrew `2 lakh and stepped out of the bank, without realising that he was being watched.
When he had walked hardly a few steps, six men approached him on three bikes and snatched the money on knife point on full public view. Harish cried for help but in vain as the robbers fled the spot in a jiffy.
Harish approached Peenya police and filed a complaint following which a case was registered. The police have begun the Investigation and obtained footage from CCTV cameras installed outside the bank and nearby places.
