Hyderabad: The government on Thursday issued orders promoting 32 deputy superintendents of police (civil) to additional superintendent of police (non-cadre). Six of these officers are posted in Hyderabad.
The promotions were done on ad hoc basis pending revision and finalisation of inter-seniority and tentative allocation between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. They are subject to the outcome of the court cases.
Those promoted in Hyderabad are S. Srinivasa Rao and Ch. Narmadha (both CCS, Hyderabad), J. Raghavendra Reddy (Crimes, Cyberabad), ACPs M.A. Rasheed (Falaknuma), K. Srinivasa Rao (Gopalapuram) and G. Sundeep (Malkajgiri).
The others promoted are sub-divisional police officers (SDPO) K. Pushpa (Kalwakur-thy), Y.V.S. Sudheendra (Kag-aznagar), T. Usha Rani (Ka-rimnagar), K. Srujana (Wana-parthy), V. Sunitha (Narsam-pet), B. Rajesh (Bhainsa), Saibaba (Munuguru), M. Ramachandrudu (Tandur), N. Malla Reddy (Metpally).
Others who are now ASPs are Ch. Srutha Keerthi, (CID), C. Narendranath Reddy (DGP office), G. Kavitha, D. Ramesh and G. Chandra Mohan (all from Intelligence), Task Force officials A. Ramana Reddy (Ramagundam), G. Chakra-varthi (Warangal), Shobhan Kumar (Karimnagar), K. Prasanna Rani, (ACB), N. Murali (Vigilance). P. Mohd. Ashfaq (17th Bn, Rajanna Sircilla). P.
