Hyderabad High Court to hear plea against TRS government meet today

President of Nadigadda Paryavarana Parirakshana Samiti, Poojari Sreedhar filed the PIL questioning the action of the TRS government.

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad High Court agreed to hear a PIL on Friday that was moved on Thursday against the TRS organising their party’s Pragati Nivedana Sabha on the outskirts of Hyderabad on September 2.

Advocate and president of Nadigadda Paryavarana Parirakshana Samiti, Poojari Sreedhar filed the PIL questioning the action of the state government and the DGP in giving permissing to the ruling TRS government for a massive public gathering of 25 lakh people at Kongara Kalan without considering the adverse affect on the traffic in Hyderabad, national and state highways and on the environment besides causing inconvenience to the people at large.

When counsel urged the bench to take up the case in view of the urgency involved in the matter, the bench said that it will hear the case on Friday.
