Hyderabad: Metro pillars in Hyderabad are going to have different forms of art work depicting the history and culture of Telangana state.
Budding artists will be involved to create different forms of art work on the metro structures.
“The four sides of Metro pillars where two sides facing the traffic will be used by L&T Metro Rail for advertisement and remaining two sides will be used for art work,” said managing director of Hyderabad Metro Rail N V S Reddy.
Every 5th pillar will be used for vertical gardens. There are a total of 2,533 pillars in the 72 km of project.
