Food technology college a gift from the Chandrasekhar Rao

College of food science and technology new building constructed with Rs 6 crore was inaugurated on Wednesday.

Warangal: Agriculture minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy said that 13th college of food science and technology in India was set up in Rudrur, Nizamabad district that is serving the student community. After bifurcation of the state, agriculture university was allotted to Telangana and horticulture university to AP, he said. Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao sanctioned the college, he said.

College of food science and technology new building constructed with Rs 6 crore was inaugurated on Wednesday. Speaking at the meeting, Srinivas Reddy said that state government was giving importance to agriculture sector and decided to book PD Act against spurious seed traders. VC Praveen Rao, district in-charge collector A. Ravinder Reddy and Bodhan sub collector Sikta Patnaik were present.
