Warangal: The police personnel must ensure that every police station under the Warangal commissionerate is turned into 'Haritha Police Station', said commissioner of police G. Sudheer Babu.
The Kamalapur police station was chosen to be the first Harita police station under the commissionerate. The commissioner along with students of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya planted several saplings on the campus of the police station on Wednesday. Several varieties of flower and fruit saplings were planted. The commissioner planted the first sapling of Mango. He said special programmes would be taken up to beautify the police stations. On the occasion, shoes and notebooks were handed over to the students of the KGBV.
