Hyderabad HC dismisses petition against K Chandrasekhar Rao
Hyderabad: The Hyderabad High Court on Tuesday dismissed as frivolous, a criminal revision petition challenging an order of a lower court in the city refusing to register criminal cases, including a case under the Prevention of Corruption Act against TS Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar and several TD MLAs who joined the TRS.
Justice C. Praveen Kumar was dealing with the revision moved by one Farhat Ibrahim, a resident of the city, challenging the lower court’s refusal to order the ACB and police to register case against the CM and TD MLAs.
The petitioner alleged that that huge corruption was involved in the TD MLAs joining the TRS. The trial court dismissed the case at preliminary stage.
While dismissing the revision petition, Justice Praveen Kumar termed it as frivolous without having any basis or evidence.
