Hyderabad: A lab technician who uploaded the private pictures of his wife to take revenge against her for doubting his character was arrested by the Rachakonda cyber crime police on Tuesday.
According to the cyber crime police, the accused, is a 27-year-old man and native of Kalwakole in Ranga Reddy district. In 2015, he married his former colleague who was working as a lab technician at a private hospital in Turkayamjal and were staying in LB Nagar.
After marriage, he opened social media accounts on the name of his wife and kept the password and other details with him.
In February, his wife came to know that he was talking to other women and suspected his infidelity and left him.
Following the dispute, he had to quit the job and moved to his native village. To take revenge on his wife, the accused uploaded her private pictures on her social media accounts in order to defame her.
Based on the complaint by the victim, a case was registered against the man and he was arrested on Tuesday, said the police.
