WARANGAL: A 25-year-old bank employee, Gudur Upender, of Kuravi in Mahbubabad district committed suicide on Sunday by consuming pesticide after a woman rejected him. Before committing suicide Upender uploaded photos of the girl with him on his Facebook page and said that he and the girl were in a relationship for two years. But since five days the girl had been avoiding him saying that her parents have found another man. He asked his friends to share the photos so that nobody would marry her.
Upender also wrote in the post that he had left a good job in Wipro in Chennai and had started working in a bank in Khammam only due to the request of the woman but she had deceived him. Upender and the woman met when they were studying MBA in Khammam.
Police said Upender visited the Kuravi police station after consuming pesticide and asked SI Ashok to register a case against the woman for deceiving him. The police called an emergency vehicle and shifted him to Mahbubabad area hospital. From there he was being taken to Khammam but he died on the way.
