Man ends life due to loss in business
Hyderabad: A businessman allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence under the Kacheguda police station limits.
The victim was identified as Vinod Kumar Agarwal, 39, and a native of Maharashtra. “The victim’s wife had been to her mother’s place with their children for the summer. On May 25, the victim had called his wife and said that he would be leaving for Mumbai and would be back on May 28.
However, on May 28 morning, one of the neighbours knocked the door. When the victim did not open the door, she peeped through the window and saw him hanging from the fan,” said an investigating officer from Kacheguda police station.
The neighbour then alerted his wife. The victim’s wife said that the victim was suffering a loss in his business for the last four years and was depressed. This might have forced him to take this extreme step. The victim is survived by his wife, nine-year-old son and a nine-month-old girl.
The post mortem would be conducted at Osmania Hospital and a case under Section 174 of crpc relating to death under suspicious condition has been booked.
