Telangana's Chief Secretary to meet defence team on MMTS phase-II project

Hyderabad: In an attempt to resolve issues relating to MMTS phase II, the Telangana State government’s Chief Secretary S.P. Singh has convened a meeting of concerned officials on June 12.

The meeting will also be attended by the joint secretary of the defence ministry.

Under the MMTS Phase II, the Moulali-Sanathnagar bypass line requires clearance from the defence ministry as it passes through military areas. Apart this, other issues will also be discussed in the meeting.

On this issue, the secretary (coordination) had held a meeting at the Cabinet Secretariat in Delhi on May 24.

As a follow up to the Delhi meeting, the TS Chief Secretary is holding a meeting with officials from the Union defence and railway ministries and the state municipal administration officials.
