Bengaluru: Unidentified bike borne assailants attacked upcoming Kannada actor Arjun Dev's car in Ramanagar on Tuesday morning. The assailants smashed the windshield of the actor's car when he came to the court to appear before it.
Arjun has played lead role in Kannada movie, ‘Yugapurusha’, which is slated for release in June. He had gone in his car to the Ramanagar district court for the hearing of a case related to a property dispute.
When he slowed down in front of the district court on the busy Bengaluru-Mysuru Highway to make a call, two masked men on a bike smashed the windshield of the car. They allegedly made threatening gestures at the actor, before fleeing.
The actor told reporters that he had no idea who attacked him. ‘I am shocked by the incident as I don't have rivalry with anyone. I don't know why they targeted me,” he said.The actor has filed a complaint with Ijoor police station in this regard.
