Chandrababu Naidu even robbed YSRC schemes, says Vijayamma

Vijayamma has also rebuked the CM N. Chandrababu Naidu for visiting the Prakasam district 16 times but doing nothing.

Nellore: YSR Congress honorary president Ms Y.S. Vijayamma appealed to the people of the state to stand by the credibility, trustworthiness and support of the YSRC.

She was addressing a large gathering at Yarragondapalem in Prakasam district on Saturday. Ms Vijayamma said that Mr Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy alone could usher in Rajanna Rajyam under which all sections of society would be taken care of. She added that he had gained a deep insight into the suffering of the masses under TD regime during the course of his 14-month-long Padayatra.

Ms Vijayamma further said that people of the state felt the loss like her own family did at the untimely death of Dr YSR. Alleging that corruption had become the hallmark of every scheme of AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, she said that he had even robbed the YSRC manifesto pertaining to Navarathnalu programme.

Ms Y.S. Vijayamma further remarked that Chandrababu had nothing to show by way of his own achievements and therefore, had taken to maligning Mr Reddy all the time. She said that people were keen on bringing YSRC into power and make Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy as CM.

She alleged that Veligonda project was purposefully delayed by the TD government though it was essential to address the water needs for drinking and irrigation in the upland areas of water starved Praraksam district.

“The delay in completion of the project came in handy for TD leaders who made a fortune by transporting drinking water in tankers to the villages,” Ms Vijayamma alleged while assuring that the project would be completed within one year after Mr Reddy came to power.

Ms Vijayamma has also rebuked the CM N. Chandrababu Naidu for visiting the Prakasam district 16 times but doing nothing. She lamented over the comments of TD leaders over her campaign and that of her daughter. She appealed to the people to back the candidature of Mr Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy for Ongole Lok Sabha seat and Mr Adimulapu Suresh for Yarragondapalem Assembly seat.
