Healthcare industry in Coimbatore is definitely growing at a rapid pace because of the access to many facilities we have. "We get maximum support from the government to provide the best possible treatment in both corporate and government healthcare sectors; private hospitals are no doubt doing great and we at government hospital are trying to catch up with the pace of private hospitals," says the dean of the Coimbatore Medical college hospital, Dr Edwin Joe.

"At government hospital we have a little of all the medical equipments and we keep motivating our doctors to provide the best treatment available in our capacity. If we keep going this way I am sure government hospitals will scale up very soon," he added.
