Dwacra women set ablaze Sakshi copies

Enraged over distortion of facts and taking away the benefit, they appealed to YSRC leader not to write against the cash transfers promised by Naidu.

Kurnool: An angry mob of Dwacra women tore up the copies of Sakshi daily newspaper owned by YSRC chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy expressing resentment over a write-up on recent cash benefit transfers to them promised by AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.

The report in the newspaper claimed that the cash transfer sop of Naidu was a lie and it was nothing but capital transfer to Dwacra groups which would be treated as a loan payable by the members.

Enraged over distortion of facts and taking away the benefit, they appealed to YSRC leader not to write against the cash transfers promised by Naidu. “Please allow us to take the benefit now,” they pleaded at a group gathering near the TD office this afternoon. Later they set fire to Sakshi papers in protest.
