Hyderabad: The IMD has forecast a cold wave warning for Thursday in northern Telangana state.
The mercury is expected to drop 5ºC below normal in Adilabad, Khammam, Nizamabad, Nagarkurnool, Koma-ram Bheem, Karimnagar and Medak district, among others.
The night temperature in the city plunged to 9.3ºC, and the Hyderabad woke up to a chill morning. Adilabad recorded 7ºC, the lowest in the state. Hanamkonda,
Peddapalle and Nizamabad also experienced low temperatures.
