35,000 people visited Numaish

Most people were at the games and entertainment zone far from the place where the fire broke out.

Hyderabad: As many as 35,000 visitors visited the Numaish on January 30. Luckily, the crowd was thin at the Mahesh Cooperative Bank and Andhra Bank where the fire started.

Most people were at the games and entertainment zone far from the place where the fire broke out.

Traders alleged that there was a lack of arrangements and that they had suffered huge losses.

Mr Mirza Ali, a trader, said, “Who will pay for our losses? Why did the Exhibition Society not have water in the other fire tanker? We want the Exhibition Society and the government to pay for our losses.”

Mr Mahesh K. from Attapur, who lost two stalls to the fire, said, “It was a massive fire and I am glad that people are safe. In business such ups and downs are expected.”
