Telangana DGP claimed that the ultra-left groups are not able to recruit people from Telangana because of strict police vigil.

Hyderabad: Telangana State DGP Anurag Sharma on Thursday said that the three major state committees of Maoists, which used to function in Telangana earlier, have now retreated to jungles in Chhattisgarh. He claimed that the ultra-left groups are not able to recruit people from Telangana because of strict police vigil. He added that the police will not allow them to get back.

The Telangana State Committee of CPI (Maoist) is operating with three district committees- Adilabad District Committee, Khammam District Committee and KKW divisional committees. “Their presence in the state is very less now.
