IAF asks state to pay Rs 25 crore for rescue

However, he didn't refer to the amount mentioned in IAF bill.

Thiruvananthapuram: The Indian Air Force asked Kerala to pay Rs 25.41 crore for deploying aircraft for rescuing people during devastating floods in August.

In a letter to chief secretary, the IAF submitted bill on account of airlift provided to government during floods. The government was requested to make payment of Rs 25,41,18,250.

Earlier, the CM had told the Assembly that the state must pay Rs 290 crore for the use of aircraft and helicopters for rescue besides the ration provided by the Centre in that period.

However, he didn’t refer to the amount mentioned in IAF bill.
